Class of 1909 minute books, 1905 September 15-1909 June 16.

The Class of 1909 began meeting as freshmen. One of the first activities they engaged in was a wrestling bout with the Class of 1908 for which they provided class jerseys with class year numerals to the wrestlers. The minutes mention a stunt for the main building, payment for damages on a fence and a wagon which was burned, hazing, selection of a class pipe to sell to raise money, paying doctor bills of players injured during practice of the class football team, electing a yearbook committee, class cap, stunt for commencement, class memorial to the college (monument to recently-deceased president G. W. Atherton), junior prom, Thanksgiving hop, construction of a skating rink on Beaver Field, and disposition of the balance in the senior class account. Includes a list of class members and their room numbers, and two resolutions (tipped in) extending condolences to classmates on the death of a parent.
